How to find your size:
1. Stand with your back against a straight wall on a level floor and with a ruler or tape, measure the length of your foot from your heel to your longest toe.
2. Compare this measurement with the lengths (cm) in the size chart below. If you are between two measurements, choose the larger size.
3. Please select from the below to find your EU size in each style:
You must size up ONE FULL SIZE in our Wooly Hobes.
Example: If your foot measures 24.6cm, you would normally be a EU39 in our other Hobes styles, and a EU40 in our Wooly Hobes.
Boat, Point, Original Hobes and Chelsea Boots.
Match your foot measurement against our size chart and select the size closest to your measurement. If you are between two measurements, choose the larger size.
Example: If your foot measures 24.6cm, you would be a EU39 in our Boat, Point, Original and Chelsea Boots (including the wool lined Chelsea Boots.)
Important note!! Our leather/suede Hobes are designed to fit very firmly on arrival. They are made with unlined leather, so they will start to shape and mould around your foot with wear, giving around half a size over time. It is completely normal for your toes to touch the end of the shoe, they should fit like a sock, so you do not need the extra space at your toes like you would with other footwear.
4. We do not offer EU half sizes, if you are between sizes, size up. ie- If you are normally an EU39.5, select a size EU40 for all Hobes styles, and an EU41 for our Wooly Hobes.
*EU and US size conversions can vary between brands, so we strongly recommend measuring your foot to ensure accuracy when selecting your size.
Where are your width measurements?
Our Hobes have a very soft upper structure, which means they will mould and shape around your foot, whether they be narrow or wide, therefore we do not provide width measurements. If your feet are on the wider side, we recommend our Point Hobe style. If your feet are very narrow, we suggest a laced style (The Boat Hobe, The Original, or The Wooly Hobe) to ensure a snug fit.
I just received my Hobes, do I have the right size?
Our leather/suede Hobes are designed to fit very firmly on arrival. They are made with unlined leather, so they will start to shape and mould around your foot with wear, and will give around half a size over time. It is completely normal for your toes to touch the end of the shoe, your Hobes should fit almost like a sock, so you don’t need extra space around your toes like you would with other shoes. If your Hobes are snug (and touch your toes), but comfortable, then you have the right size. If your Hobes are tight to the point of being uncomfortable, then you may need to size up. If you are still unsure, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and our team will help you out.
